Terms and Conditions:

Eligibility: This contest is open to all researchers over the age of 18, except employees and immediate family members of the sponsoring company. The contest is open to individuals and organizations from around the world, including research and technology centers, universities, SMEs, large companies, students, staff linked from undergraduate schools and training centers regardless of their geographic location.

Submission Guidelines: to be eligible for the competition, entries must be submitted via the official submission portal on our website. Entries must be no longer than 400 words and must be submitted in English.

Deadline for Entries: The deadline for entries is July 13th, 2023. Entries received after this date will not be considered.

Judging: Submissions will be judged based on creativity, scientific merit, and feasibility. The top five submissions will be selected by a panel of judges and winners will be notified by email.

Prizes: The top two submissions will receive a free Arche Laser. The next three submissions will receive a discount on the Arche Laser. Winners will be announced in mid-September.

Rights: By submitting a proposal, you grant the sponsoring company the right to use your submission for promotional purposes.

Disqualification: The sponsoring company reserves the right to disqualify any submission that does not comply with these terms and conditions.

Ownership of Submissions: The results, IP and other knowledge generated based on the winning idea will be the property of the winner and her entity, without FYLA having any rights over the idea or application.

Privacy: We respect your privacy and will only use your personal information for the purpose of administering the contest and communicating with you about the contest. FYLA takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

FYLA does not store personal data longer than is legally permitted and necessary for the purposes of this Privacy Policy. The storage period depends on the nature of the information and the purposes of processing. The maximum period may therefore vary per use. 

Most personal data relating to the website will be deleted after a reasonable time. Thereafter, a part of the personal data may be stored only as long as such processing is required by law or is reasonably necessary for our legal obligations or legitimate interests such as legal proceedings, bookkeeping and internal reporting. 

Shipping and Customs Limitations: Expedited shipping, and customs fees or duties, are not part of the award.

Liability: We are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property that may occur in connection with the contest.

General: The sponsoring company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
